Piper had her last dance recital. I guess dance lost it’s appeal a lot sooner than it did with Calista. Piper only made it a year. She was very adamant about this being her last recital. We still aren’t sure what she will do next, but I’m guessing she’ll let me know what she wants to do.
Because it’s six months after she danced I can’t remember the theme of the recital but I do remember that she danced to the song “Hairspray” from the musical. She did awesome and included lots of sass.
Here’s Piper right in the middle. She doesn’t stand out at all.
They were given bottles of hairspray for the performance. We even got to keep it. Who knew Piper would be so excited about that? She’s in the middle in this picture, as well.
All these pictures were taken during the rehearsal so I could get close-up shots. You can tell she’s already getting bored here, having practiced the song twice already.
And the big finish!
She did have fun and she loved her teacher (who Calista had for two years). I think the big drawback was that she had to have her hair curled and make up on for the performances. She did NOT like that.
But she’s pretty darn cute.
