Where's My Daughter?

What's the fastest way to make a mother have a panic attack? When your child's bus stops at the bus stop but your child doesn't get off. It figures that the last day of school I can't find Téa. I was ready to call in an Amber Alert! I asked the kids on the bus who I know if Téa is on the bus and they say that she is on a different bus. Well, I wait a little while longer and still no other bus. So I call the school and they try and track her down through the transportation office. While I'm on hold with the school I decide to go out driving thinking maybe for some weird reason she got off at the wrong stop. Just as I'm pulling out of the garage Téa's bus comes to the house and drops her off. I guess the bus driver had to pick up Jr. High students as well and got mixed up and forgot to go to our bus stop. Téa is the only morning Kindergartner at our bus stop so I guess it was easy to forget? Anyway, my blood pressure is back to normal and the summer break officially begins. Too bad Mark had to have a tooth pulled today so we can't go out and celebrate. I guess we could, but it would have to include Jell-O, yogurt and anything else soft.

Our first month out here in Eagle Mountain, Markee in Kindergarden and never had been on a bus before (like Tea), Markee was left on the bus 2 or 3 times! She was so quiet that the bus driver didn't notice her. Didn't realize that he had an extra child until he was in the EM city center! I feel your distress. It ended up happening about 5 times total from January to May.
