Warning...random post

There hasn't been much to blog about lately, hence the lack of posts. It's not for lack of having things going on. I could have posted about Téa's first soccer game or my first soccer game or Mark getting an ingrown toenail dug out. Or maybe I could have blogged about Piper starting to lung forward a ton and the fact that she pulled herself up on he knees a few days ago but I just didn't get around to doing it. So this post will be boring for most since I'm mainly posting this for grandparents.

Yesterday morning we were in Téa and Calista's room getting ready for school when Calista turned on some music. I noticed Piper started dancing...well actually sit-dancing. Of course when I turned on the camera she stopped dancing and started whining. This is what she does when she notices that I'm watching her; she starts to get frustrated that she can't crawl and decides that I need to know that she's unhappy. She was dancing away until she saw the camera. Although she does take a moment to smile and laugh when she sees the camera at first. It's funny. It's like she's bipolar. Oh, and you'll notice Calista hopping up and down. She does this all day long. She's always hopping. Sometimes it's because she's really excited or she has to pee but mostly it's because she's part kangaroo.

Today is a crappy day as far as the weather goes. Téa's soccer game has already been cancelled this morning and it's looking pretty wet and cold for my game tonight. I'm very excited to play because I heard that the team we are playing play dirty and really mean. Ahhh...finally a chance to have an excuse for me to play mean and dirty (well more than usual!). Although my soccer game last night was a great game even though only half the team showed up and we both lost by forfeit anyway because come game time both teams only had 5 players. We decided to play anyway because a lot of people drive almost an hour to get to the game so we wanted to make it worth our while. I was able to run off my anger for forfeiting (I hate that more than anything) and after our goalie finally showed up we playing a lot better. This is turning into a very boring post...oops.

Mark is at a basketball tourny for Nu Skin this morning so we are having a lazy Saturday morning while it rains hard outside. It's days like this that I wish we had a fireplace to snuggle up in front of and read for hours. Guess I'll just have to settle for snuggling up on the couch and playing the Wii (and putting off the laundry). Happy Saturday everyone!

Ok, so I was laughing at the music because my kids absolutely love dancing, including Macie and her bum bounce but my kids are listening to my music which is Akon, Pink, Gwen Stephani, etc. It is pretty funny. I am damaging my kids...

See you tonight where we are gonna accidentally slide tackle everyone we see...

So did you do it...nail someone so hard that they had to be transported to the hospital? Okay, maybe not, but you probably did kick a little hiney on that muddy mass of a field! It has rained here most of the day too. Got to send the kids to a birthday party next door and it was quiet for a few hours today...so what did I do? Majorly scrubbed down the bathroom. Utterly boring and depressing but it had to be done THE RIGHT WAY!!
