The Fake Lake

I guess I'm in the blogging mood since Mark's gone and I figured he'd enjoy some updates. Yesterday I went with some friends to a really cool man-made lake (hence the 'fake lake' reference) in Herriman. I think it's going to become my new favorite place to take my kids when I'm ambitious. It wasn't very busy but that could be because it was a weekday. I definitely want to go again. It was great going with the ladies from my ward so my kids had friends to play with and I had friends to talk with.

Here's Calista enjoying the view. Right below the rock pile are tons of homes. Wouldn't want to live there if the dam broke.

Piper loved the water. And she loved going in it with Téa.

Téa and Breanna having fun.

Piper had fun filling the boat harbor with water (and sand) with the bucket.

We live right down the street from the lake (not below the rocks though :)) but we go all the time. We love it! Next time you go call me and we'd love to join you. It would be fun to have the kids play together!
