I'm 6 months old!

First off we'll start with my stats:

16 lbs. 13 oz.
27 in.

I'm a growing machine. I was actually six months old on Jan. 7, and had my doctor's appointment on Jan. 15, but mom is such a slacker. She finally put me in front of the computer today so I could update everyone. She still has to carry me everywhere because I'm just not interested in moving around...still. Seriously, why would I want to roll over to get a toy when I have two very capable older sisters to do it for me? I did finally start sitting up on my own about a week ago. I still fall occasionally but I'm getting more stable. I figured I had to meet some sort of milestone so my parents wouldn't think I was slow or anything. I just don't like to exert any energy. I mean, come on, you'd be tired too if you had to hold cheeks up like mine all day long.

I did get another tooth a week ago. The other top tooth should come through any day now. Having teeth on the top and bottom make it so much easier to play games with my spoon. When I'm eating I bite down and Mom and Dad have a harder time getting it back out. They aren't really amused by my new game but it entertains me. I'm totally sleeping through the night now from 6:30 pm to 7:30 am. Nothing like a good night's sleep. I'm still doing pretty well during nap time too. I take 2 naps a day that last about 2 hours each. I still need my beauty sleep. Speaking of sleep, mom says I need my morning nap. Gotta run. Ciao.

I like the "I'm still doing pretty good during nap times too" when she's sleeping 2 two hour naps a day...I"m sooo jealous! Though I did start the 'let it cry' experiment yesterday so we'll see how it goes!

Yeah, you sure did luck out with the whole sleep thing. She sounds like the perfect baby, who cares if she isn't rolling over and crawling. I would much rather them stay in one spot anyway...it makes it a lot easier to keep track of them.

sorry Marcia, it's been a bit...the bathroom looks awsome. Steve or I wouldn't know the first thing about doing that. Great job Mark! Little Piper is really cute. She looks so much like the other girls. I'm glad that you guys are doing great in your new abode!
