Piper and Indoor Soccer
Piper decided that Fall soccer wasn't going to be enough. She needed a little indoor soccer to fill her winter months. We signed her up for indoor through the Legacy center. Let's just say every game was pure chaos and all those first graders were crazy. Piper had a blast! I'm not sure we'd do it again but she loved it. We took very few pictures since they almost always turn out fuzzy but I knew I had to blog about her playing and include at least one fuzzy photo.
This girl is my favorite. She wasn't tired when she was subbed out so she started doing push ups to fill the time until she could go back in.
Piper's favorite thing was to stand right in front of the goal. She always ran straight for the goal to protect it.
The first 20 minutes of their allotted time was for practice. She listens well and gets frustrated with the other kids when they don't do what they are supposed to do.
After playing indoor, Piper realized that she really wants to be goalie. Next year she wants to find a 'real' team and be their keeper. We'll see if we can make that happen, kiddo.
