Cat Shaming at its Finest

I love the Spring when the weather starts to turn just a little warmer each day. We see the sun a little more and it starts to melt the dirty snow that's been sitting on the lawn for months. It means we can leave the windows open to get fresh air throughout the house without freezing ourselves. It also means that Maximus starts shedding his winter fur and it drives me crazy to find balls of it all over the house. Once this starts to happen I know it's time to take Max to the groomer. It's my one chance to get back at him for all his messes I get to clean up. It's only fair.

I know, I know, I know. Only crazy people post about their cat. So call me a crazy cat lady but I can't help it. He looks so pitiful once he's lion shaved. Like, it's so funny I laugh out loud every time I see him.

Here's a before picture.

And after...

I mean, come on! Isn't that the best? I'm not sure what's funnier. His little poof of fur on the end of his tail or the saggy belly we get to see when he walks around.

So I do feel a teensy bit bad when he gets home and comes out of his crate and he wants to hide because he feels naked. I gave him a few treats to make him feel better. I'm not totally heartless.
