Enjoying Nature

One of the coolest things about living in our new place is being right next to the Provo/Jordan River Trail. We hop on the trail just a block away from our front door and it's very cool. We explored it for the first time last weekend. We only went around our development a bit so yesterday Mark decided to find out how far he could go on his bike with Téa and Calista in the bike stroller. I, of course couldn't keep up with the bike so Piper and I went at our own pace on the trail and I had a good 30 minute run. Mark was hoping to get as far as Thanksgiving Point but found a really cool park for the kids instead. Mark isn't sure how far he went but when he got home his legs felt like jelly. He was pulling close to 84 pounds with the two girls in the bike stroller so it was a good workout. Next time I go out running I'll try to remember my camera. There are some pretty cool sites on my route.

What you can't see in this photo are all the snacks that the girls have inside the stroller. They have it easy.
Piper and I ready to go.

I agree. That is the most awesome thing about your house location.

That would be the Jordan River trail. Provo River in on the other side of Utah Lake. Nice try! :-) I love running that trail, but I have never gone north, always south. You need to get pictures of the herons or whatever kind of cool bird it is in those ponds in your development too. They looked so cool the other night at sunset!

That looks like so much fun! We drive through there all the time. (It's our short-cut to I-15) lol. What a great thing to have so close to home.
