I’m already mad at myself about Thanksgiving. I came home to sit down and blog about all the fun we had with my family and I looked on the camera and realized I took like 5 pictures. Lame! I hardly ever get together with my brother and his family and my kids finally get a chance to play with their cousins from the Woolley side and I forget to take pictures. Ugh.
Well, I’ll have to blog in words. Boring, I know. We went down to Mesquite for Thanksgiving. Going to a warmer climate was awesome. My brother and his family flew down from Spokane. My parents were super excited to have the entire family together under one roof.
I finally got to meet my newest nephew, Grant. Of course I forgot to take pictures. I got to hold him a little. He is almost 4 months old and pretty dang cute. I do have to add that holding him didn’t pull at all on my heart strings or make me baby hungry… at all. Guess you know you’re done when…
Thanksgiving night we went bowling at the Eureka Casino. Classy, I know. But we had tons of fun and I did remember to take pictures. Well, a few anyway.
Here’s Anna-bird. Still not sure how that nickname came about. She wasn’t into bowling. Just wanted to watch.
Yup, that’s my brother. He may or may not have just bowled a strike. But probably not. I whooped him.
Piper did pretty well. Here’s Mark helping her, but most of the time she rolled it herself.
I had to take a picture of the best game I had going. Unfortunately, our hour was up before we could finish. Don’t look at Mark’s score. It isn’t accurate. He wasn’t taking this game seriously. He can never find a ball big enough for his thumb knuckle. Hmm…possible Christmas gift, maybe?
Mark and Darron took the four older kiddos on a quick hike up on the bluff near my parent’s house. Alex, Calista, Téa and Isaac.
Téa and Isaac played so well together. I worried that since they are getting older that the division between girl and boy would hinder their playing. It didn’t and I’m so glad. They played Monopoly a bunch and then the last day they found some slide flutes and they made up their own secret codes with them. It was hilarious to watch them.
I almost forgot to mention that Mark and Darron got to play a full 18 holes of golf while we were there. Mark was in heaven, I’m sure. I know he wants to take advantage of golfing down there more often. He just needs someone to go with. Maybe I should take up golfing?

Want my two cents? You're done have kids, so yes you should take up golfing and go with Mark. So glad you had a wonderful time!
Now you are done, you have to commit to watching Presley once a week. So there!
