Wish Me Luck
I am headed to the hospital in an hour or so to have surgery on the darn knee. All hopes of just having a minor knee sprain went out the window after I got my MRI results back a week ago. I completely tore my ACL, bruised my tibia and I have a stress fracture somewhere in there as well. I'm not nervous...yet. I think the part I'm most nervous about is the future of my knee. Will I be able to be anywhere near close to normal again? So, these are my thoughts as I ready myself to have this done. I'm also thinking how lucky I am to have great friends and family who have helped or will help. And how lucky I am to have a husband that is dropping everything for a week to take care of the kids and the invalid. So, wish me luck...

marcia i hope it goes well. how long do you have to be laid up for? miss you!
You looked pretty cooky after surgery but hopefully you can pop some pills and sleep for the next....week. The girls were really good. Piper called me "Mama" all day and Tea helped with the others.
I hope you feel better soon! I already miss you cause I know you are gonna be out for awhile. Let me know if I can help watch the kids next week!
I'm so sorry about the knee...that is really a downer. I hope that it will heal up quick and you can get back to playing soccer and running. We will be thinking of you and hoping that you can get back on your feet quick...but not to quick...you need a few pampering days. :)
