We usually don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day around here. Well, I guess I should say we don’t go all out. Just not into it, I guess. We, of course, buy Valentine’s for our kids to pass out to their school friends. We aren’t that lame. There’s just no need for us to fight the huge crowds at the restaurants or buy flowers that will die the next day and (let’s face it) I bake lots of goodies anyway so we don’t need any more excuses for chocolates and candies to reside in this house.
But, today I decided to get a little nifty with my Oreo Truffles.
So these are what my family will come home to tonight. More of them would have had hearts on them but they took more time and I just didn’t have the energy to do more. I would have stopped at one, but around here you have to do everything in threes or there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Me too! Let's have a truffles party....it is almost my bday so we can use that as an excuse.
