Halloween Fun

Ah, Halloween.  We knew this would be a crazy weekend with Halloween and packing for our trip.  But I think it turned out pretty good and we all had fun.

Nu Skin is big on dressing up for Halloween.  It used to be that you were booed if you didn’t dress up.  Mark found his costume on Thursday, a day before dress-up day at work.  I think it turned out pretty good.

So good that Mark wanted me to wear it that night at Leslie’s party.  So I became the old-school golfer and Mark was my caddy.

Leslie always has a Halloween party and this year didn’t disappoint.  Most of the family dressed up with an Alice in Wonderland theme.

Jared as Mad Hatter and Leslie as…you guessed it…the Red Queen.  Both costumes turned out so well.

Since Mark’s parents were coming Saturday we thought it would be fun for all the cousins to trick-or-treat together.  And since we claim the youngest kids we tricked and treated in our neighborhood.  Our kids lasted so much longer trick-or-treating this year compared to last year.  Unfortunately it rained this year for the first 30 minutes but the girls had so much fun going with cousins that it didn’t bother them too much.

Jeff and Alison all dressed up.  And Alison was a few minutes late coming to our house because she was sewing her Jedi robe for her costume.  With no pattern or anything.  Pretty cool.

And, finally my girls.  Téa loved her costume as Cleopatra.  It turned out even better when I realized she needed make up to complete it.  Calista is a snow princess and Piper is a purple Princess.  She actually kept the crown on the whole night.

And here’s the whole gang.  We have Thing 1, a cave man, Tweedle Dumb, The Red Queen, purple princess, snow princess, Cleopatra, a mad scientist, Alice, Darth Vader, Barbie, Obi Wan, and the Mad Hatter.

We all had so much fun.  My next post will be coming from Italy.  Woo hoo!
