When Piper gets hurt she does NOT like to be consoled. By anyone. When she is sad or hurt she grabs her precious yellow blanket and goes to this chair in the front room. I don't know why. Maybe because for the older girls it's the time-out chair when they can't calm down.
Last week I met up with Meghan and her crew at the Thanksgiving Point Farms. So fun. But hot. Here are the partners in crime...Piper and Macie. I love how Macie has to go tippy toes to see over the top bar and Piper is just massively tall. Did I ever mention that Macie is 3 months older?
We've learned that pens are no longer safe just laying around the house. Piper doesn't need paper. She gets creative. She also got her arms and face.
Téa lost another tooth. The fifth one, if you're counting. (She certainly is)
We put a second hole in the wall. I finally got my clock hung. I think I'm getting used to putting holes in the walls. There will be more of it happening now that I have the decorating bug.
The girls really wanted to make paper wings a few weeks ago. They were all very creative in their artwork. Here's Piper hammin' it up for the camera.
Back in May Téa had her Gymnastics Exhibition. She loved it. She did beam, bar, vault and floor routines. Here she is after getting her ribbon and a flower from Daddy.
Mark finally finished putting in sprinklers in the backyard. Piper was a big helper. Mostly.
Summer is in full swing. The girls are getting used to being home all the time and I'm getting better at doing things during the day to keep them from whining too much. We finished swim lessons last week and had our first vacation this past weekend. Pictures and a post to follow soon. Oh, and I've been busy with physical therapy for the ol' knee and watching World Cup.

I love the clock, it's about freakin' time!! Also, I love the pic of Piper and Mace! Natalie cut Macie's hair the other day and it is short short short. You gotta see it!!
Yah Ezra is totally drawing on himself all the time, and Micah's mark just won't come off the bathroom door, but it mostly came off the toilet itself....
Cia - we're so excited to see you all in a month. Especially since I'm hoping to dress all the cousins up and take them to a park for pictures, I would be happy to attempt a family photo for you as well. I've got my fancy schmancy camera lens and a few photoshop tricks up my sleeve! And if I don't get anything good, then you can pay someone. But I'm free, whoopee - VW
