Welcome to our humble commode

Our new bathroom: It's done. Well, mostly. It's done as far as I'm concerned. It has a door which means anyone can use it now. That means done in my book. If you really want to be technical about it the walls just need another coat of paint (Mark and I primed it last night) and then the trim for the finishing touches. Jared came over Monday afternoon and the boys textured the walls and hung the door. Mark called me (while I was at the Museum; see blog entry "Eeeww") and said I was going to be very happy when I got home. I walked in and was in heaven. It was like Christmas. The door was on and it looked great. We will get the trim done whenever we can get Jared's nail gun over here. Now I just have to convince Mark that we need to put a huge hole in the side of the house and put a nice window in the bathroom this summer. He he he.

When can I come over and break that baby in? Better yet, I will send Tucker in there.

Who needs a window? It's just another thing you have to put blinds on, which in turn just turn into another dust trap. Not to mention it's another window to wash. My vote is no window......as long as it has a fart fan of course.
