Don't Waste Your Money!
OK, so I'm sad to admit that I actually went and saw the Twilight movie. I'm in tears now as I write this because I wasted a good $5.75 that could have been spent on something like 1/3 of a can of formula for Piper. Meghan and I went with low expectations. We both liked the books and wanted to see the movie. I about lost it when the 16 year old girl next to me started hyperventilating when Edward came on the screen for the first time. I wanted to throw up. Anyway, you know it's a bad movie when during the serious parts the audience is laughing! To quote the comic book guy in The Simpsons: "Worst...movie...ever". That about sums it up for me. (Oh, and those of you who did like the movie, I'll understand if you don't visit my blog for a while.)

Try having the hyperventilating person next to you be your 36 year old sister. Oh, and don't forget the person sitting behind me who kept kicking my chair. By the time the movie was over, I thought I was going to have to call the suicide hotline. Then I talked myself out of it, because they always put me on hold anyway....ha, ha, Just kidding!!!
I was going to leave it alone, but now that I've heard from several people how over-the-top campy it is, I have to go!
Apparently, during one of the slower parts of the movie, one of my friends yelled "Renesmeeeeeeee!" at the top of her lungs -- on a $3 dare from another friend. We're all going to a 9:30 showing tonight. This, I cannot miss.
Ugh. I cannot get ugly Ed out of my mind. The acting could have been better done by Dax, Tea, Callie and Tuck. I guess I will have to lust after some other guy.
Alright Marcia, even though I loved the movie I'll still visit your blog. I'm pretty sure we can still be friends.
a hyperventilating girl, that is nothing. Try an theater with 500 screaming teenage girls. It started about 10 minutes before the movie- they shouted Edward and Jacob back and forth. And then they kept it up throughout the movie every time a Cullen made an appearance. They even screamed in the closing credits as they gave each actor his/her due, including a scream for James (the bad guy). We the YW leaders just laughed everytime they did it. Book is definitely better.
