One of our favorite places to go in the summer is Blackridge Reservoir. It’s the closest thing to a beach that we have around here and it’s close by and, most importantly, free! As long as I bring toys and fun things to play with in the sand my kids will play for hours.
We ended up going only a few times this past summer because for some reason we were just busy. Or maybe it’s because I was lazy. Either way, we didn’t go as often as we wanted.

And then snuggle up when you get so cold from swimming.
Now that it’s December I’m really missing the warm, sunny, Summer days.

When it gets warm again, call me and I'll meet you there. I literally live a few streets away and we're always there during the summer. It would be fun to catch up and let the kids play!!
