Cornbelly's

So there was no school on Monday and I got a call from my sister-in-law and they were at Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point. I packed up the munchkins and headed over there. Little did I know that we would spend 4 hours there and have a blast. It was so warm and sunny that (being the horrible mother I am) Piper got a little sunburned. Oops. Leslie and Alison were there with their kids and Téa and Calista were in heaven. Of course Téa was Nicolas' shadow and they ran everywhere and played with everything. Calista tried to keep up but soon realized that she had just as much fun doing things on her own as long as I was somewhere close by. The greatest part about living here in Utah is that my girls get to hang out with a lot of their cousins on the Randall side. Calista adores her older girls cousins. But when you ask her who her favorite cousin is she will say she "loves Josh". Hmm...Josh is at BYU now and even when he was at home and we would be doing family dinners she would clam up around him and not say a word or look at him. Those of you who have been around her know the face she makes and doesn't say a word. It's funny.

Anyway, back to Cornbelly's...There were so many fun things for the kids to do. Playgrounds, corn box (equivalent of a sandbox. I'm still finding corn around the house), corn maze, go carts, jumping pillows, slides and all sorts of other things. I started taking pictures of Calista at the beginning but then forgot to keep it up. I only was able to get a quick pictures of and Nicolas because most of the time I didn't see them.

This was a great princess carriage for Penelope Pumpkin Princess that walked around the grounds in a bright orange princess dress. Calista didn't want to meet her, though.

I actually got the kids to sit still long enough for a picture.

Calista loved the cow train.

I was bad this year. I haven't taken the kids to a pumpkin thingy nor do I plan to. Doesn't Disneyland count?

That looks like fun, and yes you are an awful mother for letting your baby get sunburned.
